honestly I feel like the go to etiquette for ao3 should be if you read smth all the way through just drop a kudos..... ofc u can't force anyone to do anything but I figure even if I didn't wind up enjoying it as much as I thought I would it's the least I can do to show my appreciation when it was obviously good enough to keep me reading to the end
