Thank you! I carry three with me when I go, and each has things it's good at. For landscapes I usually use my iPhone 11. iPhones can be great if you learn a few tricks. They're best for when the sky might wash out. Touch the washed out part and it fixes it before you shoot. I also use them a lot for videos, but they don't zoom well. They take good close-ups too. The main other camera is a Canon Powershot SX530 HS. It has a 50X optical zoom. I use it a lot for birds, like that green heron and the indigo bunting video. But I also use it for distant landscapes and to take pictures of the moon and sometimes the sun like that sunrise one I posted this morning. I could probably do more with it if I learned more about photography, but I don't like to fiddle a lot. Maybe adjust one or two things and shoot. Usually I don't pause much between photos. I'm often not out for long. Those are the main cameras I use but sometimes I'm not pleased with the quality of the iPhone landscapes so I bring my old camera, a little Canon Powershot ELPH 510 HS. I've used variations of that one, like the 530 and 520 over the years. It's a good little camera but sometimes it gets exactly what you want and sometimes it just doesn't. When it's spot on, it captures subtle light the others don't get. I get it out when the landscape looks moody. It doesn't have a great zoom, sadly. I usually answer messages privately but I get asked this question fairly often so I'll make this public. Thanks for asking! 💚
