April 4th, 2025. Thad finally gives in and makes a self-shipping blog. These songs are the only proper way to start this blog, I think; I'm returning to my roots creatively, so it only makes sense to return to where I came from musically as well. I think this particular selection of songs from my childhood encapsulates the weird loneliness and desperation to be understood that has made self-shipping so appealing to me for the entirety of my life.

I don't know how often I'm going to be posting here, hopefully it will be often-ish after I graduate in May and find myself with more free time. I'd ideally like to flesh out each of my self-ships with art/fanfics, give each ship a fun unique tag, and all the cool stuff I've seen other self-shippers do over the years. The ideas have been bouncing around in my head for years at this point, and I'm excited to finally share them, even if they're just being deposited into the void of a follower-less tumblr blog.

I'll make an introductory pinned post with an overview of me as a person and a F/O list and all that good stuff soon. Don't touch that dial just yet, dear listeners.
