BUFFY SUMMERS BIO

BASICS

Buffy Anne Summers was a Slayer who was activated in the late 20th century.  Buffy was originally living in Los Angeles; but, due to an incident involving a gang of vampires at Hemery High School, she moved to Sunnydale with her mother. There, she acted as guardian of the Hellmouth for seven years before the town's destruction in mid-2003.

Initially a reluctant hero who constantly wished for nothing more than a normal life, Buffy eventually grew to embrace her destiny. Buffy was unique as a Slayer in many ways; she refused to sacrifice her ordinary life for her supernatural destiny, often operated as part of a team with her friends the Scooby Gang. Buffy was one of the longest-lived Slayers and returned from death not once, but twice, coexisting with another Slayer, an act that disrupted the magic surrounding the traditional line. During their war with the First Evil, Buffy enacted a plan to activate every Potential Slayer in the world, abolishing the traditional line of Chosen Ones.

PRE- SUNNYDAE

Basically the movie. Buffy living in LA, learns she’s the Slayer, gains and loses her first Watcher, goes up against Lothos gets expelled for setting the gym on fire. Runs away with Pike to Las Vegas.  

ENTER THE WISHVERSE

the Alternate Universe created by Cordi’s “I wish Buffy had never come to Sunnydale” wish. Buffy is a much more grimdark person, living only for her job as the Slayer with no friends or family. You can tell it’s the Dark Timeline™ because she’s wearing cargo pants.

NEVER THE SLAYER

She was never Slayer, just a totally normal gal. Moves to Sunnydale with her mom after the divorce, and is just trying to reestablish herself as a popular girl when she potentially stumbles into this world by accident and is immediately over her head because like..... Hellmouth. No one is safe.

LATER DOWN THE LINE

Buffy was totally normal until later on and THEN she was activated. When and who came before her is up in the air atm.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE AND SLAYER

Buffy gets turned, when??? Good question. Open for LOTS of different variations. Default is the Master at the end of S1. Options for Souled and Unsouled versions.

GENERAL CROSSOVER - SPOOKY STUFF

Still retains the majority of her canon info like being a chosen magical super demon killer but with some of the more BTVS-specific stuff put to the side to better mesh with other paranormal / supernatural / fantasy fandoms / premises when needed. Exact details will vary thread to thread.

GENERAL CROSSOVER - NO SPOOKIES

For when other muses are distinctly non-magical and meshing the two won’t really work well. Buffy’s a Totally Normal Human Cis-Female™. She’s a paramedic / ER type.
