voice acting is such an underrated form of art like I know a lot of people focus on like the big names like Strong, DeLisle, Kenny, just to name a few because they have "range" but thinking about the actual WORK that goes into it?? Incredible.

#I'm gonna talk a lot in the tags as per usual but this time it's important #I say range in quotes because even though they're big name people I feel like at the end of the day they're putting on the same voice #in different pitches #but I might be biased because Strong and DeLisle rub me the wrong way now and in a way it kinda hurts so of course I'm gonna feel strongly #but I'm watching wreck it ralph again and I just wanna say holy SHIT #the emotion in the way they read these lines is INCREDIBLE #and I feel like that's so overlooked #thinking about it you're still ACTING and in a way I feel like it's a different form of difficult #because you're not like in a live action movie where you can physically interact with your cast and get the same effect #like running I assume in a live action movie you would probably be running to get that vocal panting #but unless they send their people on runs before they do their lines #it's just incredible #also I don't want to discredit the big names they are PLENTY talented #like Tom Kenny I *love* him #I just want to appreciate more than just range in pitch
