it's really funny that warhammer 40k's terminology is full of crusades and emperors and heresies and the names of egyptian deities and imperiums and then you've just got "space marines". unbelievable.

#a fun fact about me is that during the pandemic I watched a ton of warhammer lore videos just to immerse myself in something insane #that was the long and short of my engagement because I low key think 40k is genuinely fascist #in a way that makes our bad lizard brains joyful and hungry #and I feel like it's probably not good to simmer yourself in that soup for too long #but I think about the technocult a lot (it rules) and about 'space marines' even more #(because it so aggressively doesn't rule)#don't they have a faggy little latin name?#stick with that and retcon the dumb tonka truck armor while you're at it #warhammer 40k
