I exist in a dimension that is solely DimiClaude and so today I am thinking about how on Claude’s birthday, Dimitri gets up super early to prepare for it because he can only do so much preparing the day before since Claude would catch on if he did too much.

the evening before he tells the cooks and maids and all their workers what he’s planning to do so that they’re all prepared for the busy next day (but he’s paying them extra for the extra work and for the people who gotta get up early or keep working late!!!).

in the morning he makes sure everything is ready for the Whole Day and then he goes back to bed in time for Claude to wake up! these days Claude is a bit more used to having Dimi around so he won’t wake up as quickly/easily when there’s movement right beside him, and Dimi has learned to be quiet and careful so he doesn’t wake Claude since Claude is a light sleeper.

whenever it’s Claude’s birthday Dimi spoils him absolutely rotten because on a regular day he spoils Claude anyway, so he has to make sure his birthday is extra special.

by the time the day is over Claude is exhausted and flops onto their bed and passes out! he’s so tired from all the spoiling but he’s so happy, fuzzy and warm inside. 😌

Dimi will be extra vigilant and sleep lightly that night because he knows Claude is gonna be sleeping heavily and peacefully all night. 😌

#DimiClaude #also dimi won't put up with any nonsense on claude's birthday so like if someone tries to be mean to claude #or someone tries to bring up politics and make drama out of it then dimi will just knock them out on the spot #he ain't even dealin with that today he just gonna knock em out and have em brought to their bed #if they get up and try again dimi is just gonna knock em back out like he's not even gonna humor them #he's not gonna cause drama and have them arrested or start any arguments that will sour the day #he's just gonna knock em out flat and deal with it another day bc nothing and nobody in the world #is gonna sour or ruin claude's birthday. by now dimi knows claude had a rough childhood and that he never rly #got to have fun holidays or anything bc most of his family didn't want anything to do with him and stuff #so he's not used to his birthday being a special day and he only started to adjust to that at the academy #and even then it was a lil weird for him! and then for five years there was a war so he never rly #got to celebrate or anything during that time so he had one special birthday but it wasn't something he got used to #but his dimi dims won't stand for that!!!!!! he's gonna make claude feel so special every day but on his BIRTHDAY #he's gonna feel like the world was created to prepare for his existence!!!#dimi will make all the time up to claude that he didn't get to have growing up! he'll learn lots of faerghus stuff too!#they'll celebrate a mix of almyra and faerghus styles on their birthdays so that claude gets almyran experiences he missed out on!!!#dimi gets his almyran culture scoops from cyril when it has to do with claude's birthday bc he can't let on to claude #that he's planning something for him so he has to make sure he asks someone else #also dimi calls on dedue and ashe for the main cooking and mercedes for the desserts #and on top of that he makes sure every year claude gets a special present ASIDE from all the loving spoiling #every year claude gets a gift that dimitri buys from someone else but ALSO dimitri will hand make something for him #and claude is always so PROUD OF HIM because sometimes it's stuff like knitting! very delicate work!!!#but his dimi dims has been learning that stuff specifically so he can handmake things for claude!!!#he's been having mercedes teach him things like crocheting and knitting so he can make SPECIAL THINGS FOR HIS CLAUDE #and on one of his birthdays claude gets a super special present from EVERYONE bc dimi has #all of both their friends pitch in to help make claude a special blanket! claude gets very cold in faerghus winters #so dimi has all their friends slowly working on a blanket for a whole year basically. they take turns adding their part to it!#BUT mercedes had a PATTERN planned out for them so it comes out properly! it is very warm and claude loves it...#but claude's favorite part about the blanket is that he can wrap himself in it AND cuddle his dimi dims for super warmth!!!#that's it im out of tags unless tumblr updated them past thirty tags im all dimiclauded out of tags
