don't get me wrong, i'm SO glad that ppl are boycotting eurovision this year, but i'm also a little irked because BDS has been telling ppl to boycott eurovision for YEARS so where has this energy been all that time??

#just wanted to complain #like believe me i'm heartened to see people giving up something that they enjoy in order to support palestine #but idk i guess it's also wild to me that people could have enjoyed eurovision that much in the first place #either knowing that it was complicit in legitimizing israel's apartheid or being totally ignorant of it altogether #both of which are just... yeah #my employer's opinions #politics #free palestine #on a separate but somewhat related note how tf is israel even part of eurovision in the first place lol?? lmao #like with regards to geography and continents and the countries that are within EUROpe
