every time i see a clip of someone trimming their cat’s nails i’m like oh god i lucked out with my cats huh
#🌻#it might be because they had so much medical intervention as kitties and were handled a lot by the vets#and getting treatments daily as kittens so they became very unperturbed by human contact#but whatever the reason they're just so sweet natured#i can't even picture them hissing at me or biting/scratching me. they just sit in my lap and purr while i trim their nails#noor meows in a sad voice in protest but lets me trim his nails#i think that's very lucky that they're easy to handle because#i give them eyedrops/ointments and clean their eyes daily. which would be HELLISH if they resisted#besides the pills and liquid meds they constantly need#i still love spicy cats tho and i've treated spicy cats before and i didnt mind too much as long as they took their treatments in the end#but imagining doing that every day for 15+ years.. yeah i'm lucky shams and noor dont have a single aggressive bone in their bodies
