it’s so exhausting seeing v*gans go on about their “cruelty free, wonderful, revolutionary alternative materials”. such as polyester and faux leather..

ah yes. plastic and plastic. so sustainable. so *chefs kiss* cruelty free.

as opposed to.. leather.. which is a byproduct of a thriving cattle industry.. and so will not be produced LESS just because alternatives are made available.. also like? wool? which hurts absolutely 0 animals to be produced?

literally anything that is biodegradable and not made of fucking plastics?

but okay sure your revolutionary idea of only buying non-biodegradable and actively harmful textiles will definitely take off and help you meet your goal of saving the cute animals. okay

#not that it's the consumer's fault for being Limited to plastics based textiles obviously!#there is no ethical consumption under capitalism and all that. ultimately its not the individuals fault #but it is PERVERSE to actively endorse plastics based textiles as 'cruelty free'#animal products are so much better for the environment and better quality / longer lasting. I'm so tired
