i now shy away from those chain rank-the-six posts (they seem to draw a lot of hostility, lol), but i thought it would be interesting to look at the rankings of 'six wives' fiction series, there's really only two bestselling series where it makes sense to do this:

#blew my mind a little im ngl #maybe average 'rankings' need be rethought...#or they've just changed in the past decade. the more likely #surprised to learn AB has lost her edge for #number one with a bullet and that jane seems to have lost hers for last?#there isn't one about her for pgreg tho so...#kofa stans you are letting your girl lose.../s #fr tho i have read weir's kofa novel and i honestly just think it's bcus it was boring af lmfao #like actually the most plodding #but it's boring/and AW is boring/and her interpretation of kofa was thus boring #idt she actually was #and unpopular opinion i think whatever your opinion of her marriage with arthur is #it is ultimately the most boring choice in fiction to write it as her telling the completel unequivocal truth #tsp got a LOT of flack for portraying the opposite and idt it was handled the best #but oh my GOD can you imagining how boring that show would have been if she hadn't??#a half-truth or self-believed half-truth is always more compelling dramatically #i;ve seen kofa stans praising tobg for its portrayal of her which is funny bcus according to the source material for that adaptation #she is lying and actually knows it
