yes we all hate bill collector phone calls but ngl since we are neck deep & sinking fast in the recession folks aren't ready to acknowledge yet, and those call center employees have begun having to/being able to work from home, I gotta say, the calls have been a lot more mellow... we're all broke! we're all broke! take care! be well! stay safe!
#I mean tbf it ALSO helps student loans have been on hold amirite lmaoooo#but most of my debt is school + unsecured cc debt from my 20s that's already been sold to collections so like. they can't do anything to me#like my credit score already took the hit & you can't sue me & I know not to reset that debt to active status by agreeing to pay#so this is just a conversation these workers are contractually obligated to attempt w me every few months#there's not even anything to repo lol they just say ''do you wanna pay $1K'' and I say ''no I am poor :)'' & from there we say our goodbyes#easy! peaceful! mellow even#freaky that they've tracked me across several moves + have my ssn but like. whatever man!
