#tbd#but not sorry i legitimately think it's so wack that tumblr is monetizing merch ripped from random user posts on this website#up to and including existing IPs like mean girls#like it's super fucking wild to me because it's literally all user generated content and it seems like some people legit want it#like is anyone being compensated lmfao bc the majority of ads i see arent for like the lizard election or crabs or anything actually tumblr#i mean they're starting in with the crab socks and i admittedly haven't checked the store it's just wild to me#i know it's probably in the TOS somewhere but that doesn't make it less shady to me that they are LITERALLY profiting off other ppls words
