i have 0 clue how people in ancient times would fucking entertain themselves doing shit. i'd be fucking dead like a meatfly wiped off a windshield if i'm unable to do anything without music blasting in my ears cancelling out all the background noise and hitting it sensual style to the beat

some medieval kid comes up to me and points at the street performers and i reply in ye olde english that such entertainment is not Enough For My Ears And Enjoyment. It Needs More. i need to be cradled by the tunes like it's my mommy or i'll perish and fucking die

#sy.txt #if i can't be in my 90s dancing to gangnam style while opening letters from my grandkids i'll fucking scream with clattered teeth etc #the joke is that i have like no ability to take in lyrics or any podcast while doing something else cause i'll just. not absorb it #but regardless i still need entertaining background noise despite not paying attention to it 24/7 and it's so fucking dumb #the clown who likes elden ring but can't play elden ring on the base ost because it repeats so often and is so fucking boring after a while #solution: listening to own music while playing all games. new problem: can't hear banger game osts anymore #another problem: a serious cutscene plays and katy perry's hot n cold is playing and you burst out laughing #swapping immersion for attention fucking. sucks ass sometimes. especially when there's dialogue and subtitles and it's overwhelming :o)#the only time i can handle doing something in complete silence that isn't sleeping is on fuckin meds. well what a surprise!!!! smh
