beginning to think that making friends or at least decent acquaintances at The Social Event is essential to surviving The Social Event

I can not just wander around like a lost puppy whenever I have nothing to do. unacceptable#I need to at the least find Someone that seems alone enough that we can make pointless small chat together#though that involves initiating the conversation and bothering someone who's alone (mean if ur me in particular)#but this group crap is absolutely not working out my social skills are abysmal and they're so nice and trying I think but I'm failing#it's like we're in a play but I forgot my lines and they're trying oh so desperately to throw me hints as to what my line is without#being mad I forgot except I've already assumed they're frustrated and mess up the lines anyways (makes them more frustrated)#which is a problem on my half but oh my goooood (looks like good whatever) I've tried so incredibly hard to fix that literally everything#like 'they literally don't hate you' mentality (EPIC FAIL 🔥🔥🔥) and pretending to be someone else (flies out window immediately) and decid#deciding its fine even if they do hate me because idc what they think (I do care. For some reason) just STOP bro. Please.#(this is a constant theme throughout my life and is literally nothing new do not mind me)#anyways yeah how do I expect to spend hours with these people if I cant even talk to them. Literally get good
