#smudgy.txt#pantheon amc#pantheon spoilers#(in the tags/notes ig)#i love love looooved the existential horror of uploaded intelligence in soma im#so glad to see it used in another story#but this one looks like itll be more optimistic/looking at things more from th perspective that the ppl who've been uploaded r still human#rather than leaving it ambiguous. which ig takes some of the horror away from it#but honestly i dont mind. its a different take from the usual but rly nice to see#sry i like the conversation of like. artificial immortality for lack of a better term#but so many things tend to be so pessimistic when it comes to futuristic tech#which isnt necessarily bad imo but like...#the focus tends to b on just the general fear of playing god & a fear of things that r different & new#& talk abt mans hubris & blah blah blah#which.. thats all been said like a million times#i like to see smth different!!#i looove just looking at this stuff from different angles#specifically when its an optimistic angle since ppl tend to completely overlook that.#which like i know WHY. but still. lighten up a bit sometimes. anyway#sorry i lost my train of thought#lots of messed up stuff happening in this show#but the results of that stuff. the little moments inbetween... it intrigues me!! & makes my heart ache a little bit
