A more in depth look at the hierarchy of hell and where each major player falls in Safe Heaven. Also acts as a guide to the important notes about each character. Heaven has a lot less focus but the few major players will appear listed here, too.
Lucifer, his "kids", and the sins of course are at the top, with the rest falling under them. The Right and Left Hands of Sin aren't quite equal with the Right having more power than the Left. Named Ginger Cats in Live Action Films A-M
I’m compiling a database of every ginger cat in the media. See the master post for all forms of media here.
N-Z appear in their own post because this post contained too many links for Tumblr. The cat from Breakfast at Tiffany's is on the named list because I have too many unnamed film cats already. Garfield is listed under comic strips. Azrael is listed under Animated Shows.
If I am missing any ginger cats, please comment so it can be added to the list.
Yes, some of these cats are in black and white films. But they're played by a cat named Orangey, so they're on the list.

The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957) - Episode 83 - Decades of Horror: The Classic Era
“In my hunt for food, I had become the hunted. This time I survived, but I was no longer alone in my universe. I had an enemy, the most terrifying ever beheld by human eyes.” You’ll get no argument here! Join this episode’s Grue-Crew - Whitney Collazo, Chad Hunt, Jeff Mohr, and guest host Ralph Miller (special effects artist) - as they journey into the ever-shrinking world of The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957).
Decades of Horror: The Classic Era Episode 83 – The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957)
When Scott Carey begins to shrink because of exposure to a combination of radiation and insecticide, medical science is powerless to help him.
IMDb
  Director: Jack Arnold
Writer: Richard Matheson (screenplay based on his novel The Shrinking Man, 1956)
Cinematographer: Ellis W. Carter
Cast
Grant Williams as Robert "Scott" Carey
Randy Stuart as Louise Carey
April Kent as Clarice Bruce
Paul Langton as Charlie Carey
Raymond Bailey as Dr. Silver
William Schallert as Dr. Bramson
Billy Curtis as Clarice’s Manager
Orangey as Butch the cat
When Richard Matheson and Jack Arnold pair up, the result is The Incredible Shrinking Man, a thought-provoking science fiction-horror film complete with an escape from a now terrifying housecat and a battle to the death with a tarantula. This one is Jeff’s pick and is one of his favorite movies from childhood. Chad is also a big fan and loves the existential soliloquy that closes out the film. Of course, special effects are Ralph’s bailiwick and he delves into each of the different techniques used in The Incredible Shrinking Man. Whitney astutely sees a connection between The Incredible Shrinking Man and the body horror subgenre.
Your Classic Era Grue-Crew gives this one a strong recommendation. At this writing,  The Incredible Shrinking Man is available for streaming on Peacock or for a fee on multiple streaming sites. Unfortunately, at this time, Blu-ray editions are few and far between and The Incredible Shrinking Man has yet to receive an in-depth treatment with extras.
Gruesome Magazine’s Decades of Horror: The Classic Era records a new episode every two weeks. The next episode in their very flexible schedule is chosen by Chad and will The Curse of the Werewolf (1961), a Hammer classic directed by Terence Fisher. Be sure to join us for that one!
Please let them know how they’re doing! They want to hear from you – the coolest, grooviest fans: leave them a message or leave a comment on the site or email the Decades of Horror: The Classic Era podcast hosts at [email protected]
To each of you from each of us, “Thank you so much for listening!”
Check out this episode!

Discomfort Animals: Five Unsettling Movie Cats (I’m really more of a dog person)
Butch in “The Incredible Shrinking Man” D: Jack Arnold (1957). Catness defined. He might rub against your leg and let you pet him but if you shrink down to three inches tall you’re just food. Not to mention he’ll tear your playhouse down.
Jones in “Alien” D: Ridley Scott (1957). Beloved pet and podmate of Ripley (Sigourney Weaver)  inadvertently leads Brett (Harry Dean Stanton) to be killed by the xenomorph. Inadventently, sure. I still think they were in on it together.
Goose in “Captain Marvel” D: Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (2019). Revealed as a Flerken,  an alien feline that can shoot tentacles out of its mouth, grab you and pull you into its tesseract-like maw. Also adorable. Also, it might scratch your eye out.
Si and Am from “Lady and the Tramp” D: Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson and Hamilton Luske (1955). Because they were mean to Lady, and their deviousness skirted racial stereotypes, but mostly because their theme song (“We are Siamese if you please/ We are Siamese if you don’t please”) will be running around in the back of my head until I die or go insane.
Rufus in “Re-Animator.” D: Stuart Gordon (1985) Tragically gives his life for science. Later becomes the 102nd use for a dead cat. And then the 103rd.
