Medical support team from IGF treating a devotee The "Care on Wheels" program is a mobile medical unit offering comprehensive health services tailored to the needs of large crowds. Key services include general consultations by qualified and registered MBBS physicians, the distribution of medicines by licensed pharmacists, vital checkups such as diabetes and hemoglobin testing, emergency ambulance services for critical situations, first aid and health awareness sessions aimed at educating pilgrims on hygiene and preventive health practices. This initiative strives to achieve a profound impact in several critical areas. Offering timely medical assistance, it addresses injuries, dehydration, and emergencies, reducing complications for pilgrims and staff. Quick intervention also helps prevent the spread of infections in crowded environments. On-site medical units ensure healthcare accessibility to everyone, overcoming financial and geographical barriers. Furthermore, the initiative promotes enhanced awareness of hygiene and preventive measures, fostering healthier practices among attendees. These efforts collectively contribute to a safer, more positive, and more fulfilling experience for millions of pilgrims at the Maha Kumbh Mela. Due to excessive crowding at Prayagraj Chheoki Junction on 29th January 2025, the Railway staff requested our assistance.
