🦷A troca dos dentes de leite por dentes permanentes é marcada por um período de muitas mudanças, onde um dente fica mole, cai e é substituído pelo dente definitivo (permanente). Durante este processo, que geralmente se inicia entre os 5 e 7 anos de idade👧🏽🧒🏻, muitas dúvidas 🤔podem surgir, principalmente relacionadas à erupção do primeiro molar🦷. Este é um dos 1️⃣primeiros dentes permanentes a irromper e, devido à sua localização e anatomia (forma) exige atenção e uma série de cuidados especiais. 🔺O primeiro molar permanente “nasce” na parte mais posterior da arcada (superior e inferior)👄, de ambos os lados (direito e esquerdo), sem que nenhum dente de leite antecessor a ele “ fique mole e caia”. Por isso, muitas vezes, os responsáveis👨‍👩‍👧 não notam a sua presença e, quando sim, não imaginam que se trata de um dente permanente. 🔹Sua anatomia (forma) cheia de sulcos e ranhuras favorece o acúmulo de biofilme👾 (sujeira) e, sua localização mais posterior pode dificultar a escovação, aumentando o risco para o desenvolvimento de lesões de cárie. 🔍Com base em uma avaliação individual, realizada pelo Odontopediatra😷, vários tratamentos podem ser adotados. Estes vão desde ao acompanhamento periódico e instruções de higiene oral ao selamento de cicatriculas e fissuras.
