Would Saul Goodman have gotten the assassins reduced sentence/plea deal/not guilty verdict?
I think he could for most of them as long as they kept their mouths shut...
#Hinckley wasn't found guilty due to insanity but Guiteau refused it and also Czolgosz's defence argued for it I think?#Hardest to defend would be the successful ones except Oswald because large audience close range and more difficult personalities#he could get most of them the insanity plea especially Byck and Hinckley#could argue that since Fromme's gun didn’t go off it wasn't even attempted murder but judging by her personality#idk anything about law#Moore didn’t even shoot in the musical but if she did he'd say something about stress and not in the right state of mind#for Oswald he could claim lack of evidence or mental illness (john wilkes booth told me to do it)#and he'd portray Zangara and Czolgosz as hard workers driven to desperation by poverty and sickness and ignore the political stuff#would work more for Zangara#Booth might get away due to being rich and famous (idk people were very pissed off) or because he was extremely misguided#honestly Saul wouldn't have touched the first three because it's too obvious#and he (or at least when he was Jimmy) still has some sort of moral compass#assassins musical#assassins the musical#not tagging Saul#I'm alive but I'm drowning in maths#and obviously I've been watching better call saul#instead of working#the moral compass thing is about Booth#because... you know
