What relation does the pet rats post you reblogged recently have to christmas? you tagged it as cw christmas and im just confused as to why, since it seems unrelated to the holiday.

oh, I think I assumed because it was posted near the holiday and also was tagged as "holiday" but I guess none of that is explicitly Crimmas

Christmas in Japan is considered a romantic holiday much like Valentine’s day, compared to places like America where it’s more religious and family oriented. Links about it:  x   x   x   x

You still work on Christmas in Japan, you still go about business as usual in Japan, etc. Giving gifts to people besides your lovers is considered weird during this time, because Christmas is again, romantic, and gifts and whatnot for family should be for New Years ( more articles about it x & x ) as it’s REALLY important in Japan, and coworkers trade gifts on Oseibo through the 1st of December to the 20th of December which is mainly things like food and household goods.
