I made my first mood board (ever) for the secret santa, and it reads like a shitpost and I love it. 😂
#mumblings#I'm not sharing it until after the person gets their fic because 😂💀 it's spoilers#But also this whole process is fascinating#I feel like I'm trying to sculpt with a newtonian fluid#I have no clue if this is any good if it will be liked or really what I'm doing#but I'm having fun and I'm amusing myself and pushing back really hard against my self cringe#and I guess trying to type so fast that I can't cringe lol#cringe I think is mostly happening because I'm working mildly outside of my comfort zone and there is great fear of failure#but also a lot of love for trying something new#I might be four chapters or less from the end?#and then comes the nightmare of editing and going back to fix the pot--er plot holes and spots I skipped#Ideally if I could finish the first draft this weekend then maybe...I could write another festive fic?#or maybe get some job hunting done?#I'm shocked I'm here actually#I had a realization this afternoon that I'm close to the end and I'm just looking at the word count in horror akin to an eldritch horror#It has a mind of it's own and I'm just trying to keep it in line as I try and get it on the page
