Nah DDG is a whole weirdo. His supporters go crazy for him too, so I don't think that nail salon lady is lying about being afraid to go to work, bc they always go too far. They are like the OG incels.

I remember like 3 or so years ago DDG was beefing w a girl who used to work w him (Riley Simpson, I think) and he told everyone to unfollow her. His fans would take up most of her YouTube comment section at the time and she lost A LOT of followers. He never intervened and told his fans to calm down commenting on her page. This went on for a while too. I think him and Riley made up years later but that's besides the point.

Ddg and his annoying fans aside I don’t think Halle was lying, I know first hand how annoying these LA nail techs can be so even tho that’s messed up none of this would’ve happened if she didn’t have that attitude

It might pipe down the ogs mania the Norwegian news outlets suffer from so it’s all good for me really) with a goalkeeper that’s shit at penalties (i know you love him but his pen stats are horrendous)

I...am #OleOut so I can imagine the frustration of national tv always going on and on about him. The penalty shootout was really not DDG's fault though, as the other keeper also hardly saved any penalties- anyway, I will stop there because I could go on and on for ages. The loss and the way we lost still hurts so much.

But! For that reason exactly, I was just scrolling thru the carraville tags on tumblr and ao3 and ruing how neither has been updated in ages when carraville is my comfort ship and i was really craving that comfort, and then lo and behold! There is this wonderful ~1k fic in my inbox!! You came to the rescue just at the right time. :3

I love how you write them and this easy, domestic dynamic they have going on. I loved how Jamie feels a little vulnerable at opening up his heart at the end (like, going for a joke but it comes out sounding sincere) given Gary is well, Gary, and you can tell in the past their relationship was all banter, but then Gary meets him halfway.
