to reiterate: i'm not pro or anti ai but a secret third thing (anti copyright)
#hexed says#there are serious issues with “ai” technology and the way it's being used#but to just focus on how it's “not art” or “steals from artists” is frankly regressive#art is often stolen#i guess it's different when a tech company does it en masse#but even still#it doesn't matter as much as the actual displacement of artists#or political parties using it for propaganda#or the increasing pollution of the internet with SEO sludge#i like playing with LLMs. wouldn't give the companies my money but it's fun to see how they handle my weird ass interests#definitely try to just respect artists' boundaries though. don't be an asshole
