#did you know. proca stars are made of vector bosons. this may or may not be true but it is the result of literally hours of research#if they are it has to be an ultralight. less than an electronvolt mass. as yet undiscovered new vector boson which. because particle mass#defines the upper size limit. would allow them to become as large as maybe a thousand solar masses#they can also contain a black hole but not very stably if they are spinning. i am describing a completely hypothetical exotic star#a naturally occurring accumulation of bose einstein condensate large enough to have its own gravity. dark matter candidate#but the questions i was trying to answer? why does particle size define their mass limit. do they emit light or not. do bosons have#degeneracy pressure. or why can't they be larger (a blog elided this as 'bosons behave in unexpected ways' and cited an unreadable paper)#did you know physics papers are also not subject to the pauli exclusion principle!! they are physically permitted to be dense as hell#anyway someone suggested gw190521 was a proca star merger
