joined a new book club, am going to become a bitch who reads Theory.
#deleuze and fanon and all those guys I didn't read because my interest in philosophy stopped after sidgwick#(edited to add - I did just remember how much I love heidegger)#anyway I did manage to say ''solely on vibes'' during the meeting this evening so I'd consider it a success#I do feel like these are books we should be reading with a professor and not just some guy who works at the bookstore?#but it's very low-key so far and other than being on the same 'generally left' page it seems to be fairly diverse in terms of approach#so I might as well add it to my roster#celestial emporium of benevolent knowledge
