Went on a voice acting rant last night while watching Poppy Playtime with psys I'm going mildly insane
#[[ramble]]#~ v ~#okay but SERIOUSLY Mommy Long Legs' voice actor did great I love her voice but she doesn't really sound like she's in pain#that's not a pained scream that's a scared and angry scream but where is the pain?!?!#she's supposed to be in pain and the voice actor didn't sell it right#theres a reaskn it's called voice ACTING!! it's just as much acting as doing a play or being recorded for a movis#if a character is feeling something you have to portray that well and properly otherwise it'll just seem off#this is why I'd say I'm pretty good at voice acting actually. I know how to imitate emotions really cleanly#so I can sound upset or angry or even in pain I actually might practice some to demonstrate to psys that I can#deliver Mommy Long Legs' last dialog really clealy🤔 hmm
