also do we think celeborn and legolas have every actually met before now because this is giving me big "hello distant nephew-figure whom I've never met" "hello guy who my dad mentions sometimes" energy

#okay the implication is probably that it's a dangerous world & they're all busy but.#do we think thranduil even likes celeborn that much if they've never once visited akldsjfhsakjdfhs #in my mind they have like opposite personalities so even if they don't dislike each other do they have anything to talk about.#like I know they meet up at the end of lotr but that doesn't mean anything except logistics #thoughts #tolkien #'nephew' not in the literal sense ofc they're probably just distant cousins I just wanted to convey the generational dynamic
