The first ensemble of “Blood at the Wheel” (Season 2, Episode 7) is Miss Fisher’s fabulous spotted racing coat, accented by a white blouse, raw silk pants, and her black circular beret.

Made of woven silk, Phryne’s racing car coat was made from a sari purchased in Bangalore, India and was a perfect fabric for creating dashing outerwear. It has a large folded collar with a beige inner lining, buttoned straps at the cuffs and a single black strap connected by buttons in the back, along with wide front flap pockets.

“Racing car drivers in the 1920s were superstars, so this coat gave Phryne a real sense of attitude and sassiness for this episode.” - Marion Boyce, Costume Exhibition Catalogue

Her white blouse has an attached tie Miss Fisher wears loosely knotted near the point of her U-neckline, and is identical (except for color) to her black blouse worn in 2x06 with her embroidered coat. These cream pants look to be made of a different fabric from her smooth white silk faille pants (seen in 2x04 and many other episodes), but very similar to her classic raw silk cream skirt she wears at home quite often (appearing in many episodes, but seen clearly in 2x03).

Phryne also has a unique decorative button, made of two cream-colored shells with black streaks along the edge and in the middle of them, used previously in 1x08. She accessorizes with black leather driving gloves, black leather handbag, frosted teardrop earrings capped in silver, and her double strapped black heels. She also wears her distinctive round Bakelite sunglasses, often worn when driving her Hispano-Suiza or when she heads to the beach, as seen in 1x02, 1x09, 1x10, and four separate times in 2x03. 

Her circular French beret is another classic staple of her costumes, complementing the spots on the coat and contrasting with her white blouse and pants. This is the tenth appearance of her beret, appearing in 1x05, 1x06, 1x09, 1x10, 2x01, 2x03, 2x04, 2x05, 2x06, and here in 2x07.

I would’ve grouped this with the previous post but im dumb and also i like keeping my translation posts fairly clean before the cut (｡･з･｡) the shitposting stays behind the gate

this is indeed a translation for a soryu-only story but i wanted to post both sides of the cg zooms bc 1) i believe in the equal distribution of boys and 2) im probably not gonna do the eisuke story any time soon so yea im slapping the image here... but somebody is probably gonna leak the full one anyway so w/e

Special Episode

Kara’s been acting strange for the past few days. When talking to her she replies with the same as usual, a natural countenance. (But when we touch...) She casually puts some distance between us... or so I feel.

(...I’m looking into it too much. We just accidentally made contact.) I turn the pages of the book, listening to my thoughts, when I sense someone’s eyes on me. Kara was looking at me with wistful eyes. (That’s right, it didn’t mean anything. With my evidence right here...) Invited by that sweet gaze, I kiss her as I pin her down. [Soryu]: “...” [Kara]: “Mn, nn-...” When I deepen the kiss, she twists her body a bit. (...When we kiss, she shows me the same adorable reaction as usual.) (So of course, she’s not actually trying to avoid me for some reason or anything.)

When I move to start to strip off her clothes, she then pushes me away with great force. [Soryu]: “...What’s wrong?”   [Kara]: “Sorry. I’m a bit sleepy today, so...” [Soryu]: “......” [Kara]: “......” (I feel like she's rejecting me for the same reason as that of two nights ago, but...) [Soryu]: ”...Lately it seems you’ve been getting more and more tired.” [Kara]: “...Yes. Work’s been busy.” (Though taking that into account, she doesn’t appear too exhausted to me...) (But perhaps - So I don’t get concerned, she doesn’t want to show that to me?) For Kara, whose thoughtfulness is quite profound, I felt that was a plausible theory. [Soryu]: ”If you ruin your body, it’ll defeat the whole purpose of everything.” [Soryu]: ”I know that you value your work, but don’t overexert yourself for it.” [Kara]: ”...Okay.” (It doesn’t really make sense to me, but there’s no point in interrogating her now.) (I’ll just believe what she says and hold out.) I lend my arm to her to sleep on and close my eyes. 

The warmth transmitted to the pajama sleeve irritated me.

A few more days passed where I was not given any opportunity to touch her. From simply her behavior otherwise being completely unchanged, the instinct of desiring her swells. (From what I’ve seen - just as I had suspected, she doesn’t appear tired at all.) If I go touch her at the house, she’ll definitely try to avoid me. I prepare a trap at a nearby hotel, and proceed to drive her to a corner. [Kara]: “...Are we not going home yet?” After eating dinner at a restaurant, she looks at me strangely as I push the up button of the elevator. [Soryu]: “If I didn’t set it up like this, you would escape me tonight, too.” [Kara]: “Eh...?” [Kara]: “...Nn-...” The moment we get on the elevator, I pull her towards me and kiss her. [Kara]: “Soryu, wai-” [Soryu]: “......” (I can’t wait any longer.) (Even if you ask that of me, I can’t listen to such wishes tonight.) I drive her to the wall and continue kissing her as if to vent out all of my frustrated desires. With that, her body loses a bit of its strength. (You’re not refusing me. Isn’t that right...?) Instead of asking such out loud I glide my hands along her, kindling her heat. [Kara]: ”Nn...” [Soryu]: “......” Roused by her stifled voice more and more, I become aware of my own lack of composure.  (I'm akin to a beast. That’s what I’ve become from simply being unable to make love for half a month.)

....is it just me or in his stories it always felt like the boy would usually not bone her until like 3 weeks or once a month bc he’s all busy and stuff whys he acting like a felon from horni jail all of a sudden

maybe their implied boning are just not always written unlike eisuke where it feels like every time they bone ever it’s gotta have a footnote with a wikipedia-approved source

(But, now...) When I gently bite her lip, her body greatly trembles. (Even if you ask for forgiveness, I won’t let go.) (I want to make love to you, right now...!)

We enter the room with me carrying her in my arms, her own strength halfway gone.

[Soryu]: ”You can’t escape any longer.” [Kara]: “Ah-...” I press her onto the shut door to steal her freedom, and force her knees apart through the dress. Her cheeks were dyed red, and as if it were unbearable she averts her eyes. [Soryu]: “Why do you look away?” [Kara]: “Nn...” She turns her head down and leaks out a faint noise, and I want nothing else but to capture those eyes once more. [Soryu]: “Face up, Kara.” Our gazes intertwining, I lift her leg up by the knee and stroke her thigh. 

When I touch the secret part of her through the fabric, she lets out a small cry. [Kara]: “Agh... Nn-” [Soryu]: “......” Spurred on by her voice, I draw circles by pressing against the cloth. [Kara]: “...Ah...ah-...!” Her hips quivering, neck twisting - her body kept on shaking about. I could not take my eyes off any of it. [Kara]: “Please, stop... I’m begging you...!” [Soryu]: “...kgh.” My throat growls subconsciously. With her eyes wet and skin carrying this heat, her body was entirely betraying her words. [Soryu]: “Why do you want me to stop?” [Kara]: “...Because, it’s... shameful...” Her complaint had blurred near the end. But her eyes looked at me with a longing, and it was terribly alluring. [Soryu]: “...But, your body instead seems quite pleased?” [Kara]: “...ngh.” [Soryu]: “What should I do? Should I stop?” [Kara]: “......” She looks up at me once more, and tears were visible on the corners of her eyes. [Kara]: “...Please release me. I... won’t run away anymore.” [Soryu]: “......” My grip on her wrists relaxed on their own, and she didn’t run away. [Kara]: “I also want to feel you.” [Kara]: “That’s why- please, don’t stop...” [Soryu]: “......!” Her suggestive words made my body forget everything. Carrying her to the bed before pressing her down, just the sensation of our skin touching causes a sigh to almost spill out of my lips. Desiring me, she clings onto me as she becomes madly disheveled. [Kara]: “Soryu...” Her entangled arms made the ache in my waist grow larger.

[Soryu]: “......” [Soryu]: “Kara...!”   [Kara]: “Aah-...” Kara embraces me as her sweet voice spills, her fingers running through my hair over and over... Urged on by her gaze, I lift her knee and deeply sink on top of her.

[Kara]: “Ah, ah, aah-...” [Kara]: “Soryu! Soryu...!” [Soryu]: “...gh-” Not wanting even the smallest of gaps between us, she hugs me and doesn’t let go. (This is bad...I can’t hold back.) Driving into her with unprecedented lust, she also desires me once more... Governed by our instincts, we fervently desired each other until morning.

Afterwards, she confessed that “the truth was that I was afraid of you losing interest in me, and so I tried to avoid physical contact”, and our calm nights together returned once more. [Soryu]: “It’s about time we go to bed soon...” [Kara]: "Right. Well, how was your day today?” [Soryu]: “Hm... When I get to end the day like this with you, it’s certainly been a good day.” [Kara]: “Huh...?” [Kara]: “Nn-” [Soryu]: “......” [Kara]: “...Soryu...”

Pressing my lips to hers, she gives a modest response. When I sneak my hands under the hem of her clothes, her eyes suddenly become wet with want,   and the her from that night crossed my mind. (It was quite difficult for me to be unable to touch her for a long time.) (With that in mind, and this...) If I let her go like this and go to bed, I wonder what she’ll do. (Will you show me, once more - the sight of you clinging onto me, desiring me?) I quietly leave a bit of distance between our faces, and she blinks, seemingly perplexed. [Kara]: “...?”

[Soryu]: “Shall we go to bed for the night?” [Kara]: “Eh...?” The eyes that stared back at me were as tearful as that of a puppy. [Soryu]: “......” (What on Earth... is this feeling of guilt...) [Soryu]: “...I was joking.” [Kara]: “!” [Kara]: “...Nn-” I seal her voice that was probably about to protest, and deepening the kiss we entangled our limbs. She breathed out a joyful sigh and leisurely stroked my arm. (As revenge for making me endure of all that last time, I wanted to be the one to tell her to “wait” this time, but-) (Somehow, following through with that sort of tactic seems impossible for me.) And that means I’m truly no match for her. While listening to the sound of that sweet voice leaking out of her, I glide my lips along the swell of her breast.

well actually this sexi scene or w/e pales in comparison to the recently-released soryu “first night” story in otona love (for obv reasons) but i much prefer the stories where they’ve been together for a while because that’s where the beeg luv begins. lol to me, in mobage otome the journey to the relationship is the barrier to the actual good content

if you’re curious abt the plot of the high-grade eisuke story, essentially eisuke and mc go out into a bougie safari lodge in africa and then bone there..... yea idk i always feel strange whenever im eating a choco pie that’s been sitting in the freezer while reading ichinomiya eisuke and the wealthy hollows

Okay... RANDOM FACTS ABOUT MAX - PART 2

I went on deep analysis mode this time to try and say all of Max's little nice and cute moments I know of.. Pls take notice, tho!! I'm not trying to flex or anything, I'm just a simple peasant girl on Maximilian's kingdom for a long time and it happens I have FBI blood in my veins 😭 so It's all gather on my brain and hard drive lol SO! I'm just answering this ask with a lot of thought and care so you can know more about Max and how he is even more awesome than you think!!! (And just in text form, cause Max doesn't need to be tagged on more personal stuff on IG (there’s too much illegal fishing at my tumblr pond already! 👏). It’s probably weird to know certain things, yes, but at least I'm respectful, I'll never bother him with this kind of stuff). Well, enjoy the bible below to end up knowing very little about him, still haha.. Just some more small facts.

- Max was at a barbecue just yesterday. It was someones birthday from the set of his new movie. He drank his beer, like usual, idk about the meat.. there was wurst and chicken.. I'm not sure if he's trying to be a vegetarian or not (after that thoughtful video he posted) 🤔.. maybe he didn't eat it, I don't know!!

- a little while before the start of this shooting, he was at the Baltic Sea filming for the series he's gonna be in (just one episode again! Don't get your hopes too high lol he's gonna be a security guard who disappears mysteriously, so....)

- He helped his friend renovate his house a few weeks ago!! How could I forget that on the first post.. Then, he had to go to Hesse for the movie shooting, and his friend had to call another friend to come help him lmao damn

I think I could describe some videos I have then... at least there's some cool and funny stuff. (Friends himself tagged in the past and cast friends)

- Max's dad went to the same uni as him. Also, he voiced a police officer on the phone in a short film Max wrote and directed all by himself (he didn't act on it, but he was also another police officer over the phone haha). Another thing, his dad made the official music for one of his plays.

- The falafel day.. his friend was taking a piss filming Max at the shop from afar and zooming in, saying "omg, guys! I found Noah from Dark! He's right there buying falafel" lmao, then, Max is just standing there looking all wonderful with his perfect hair and such, moving his hands, scratching his chin, ordering his food, and his friend talks some more, doing like a rough Max voice "yeah yeah, I'll have that one. Good, yeah". 😂

- the day he went to take a walk in nature. His friend asks him for a cigarette, he is denied, he goes to take it anyway, Max slams his cup of tea on the table and tries to take his cigarette back and it's all black and they're just laughing lmao (I love his laugh btw, so giggly!)

There was storys posted by Max himself.. so, maybe you saw it, but it's from before dark s3 came out.

- The pigeon storys. He filmed two pigeons chasing each other at the station, one always running from the other and he captioned "me trying to flirt" haha

- He screen recorded an ad for an app that deletes people from pictures and made some joke too, I can't remember exactly what he wrote, smt like "when you break up, but still wants to keep the picture" lol also, he unfollowed like 5 people that week after posting that... hm 👀

- he posted a video of him walking in the dark with really cold wind.. you can only see his hair flying around. Also, with a mask on, another chasing a cat in a big field, and that one drinking his coffee and eating his yogurt (you most likely saw it already)

- Ohh.. His friend was playing Max's drums the other day!!! Made a lot of jokes, it was obvious he was messing around in Max's room (maybe they live together, maybe he just waters the plants lol idk). Some of the jokes were "I've been playing this drums since 1921" and "the drums and me are a perfect pair, don't ever believe otherwise". I wonder what Max said to him.. he can't do anything about it, he's not in Berlin hahah. He has a little giraffe in his room, and other home decors (you can see it on his drumming video on his own IG)

- he likes to read on longer train rides.

- there's a video of him screaming inside a wardrobe after being jumped by a friend and one of him putting lipstick on with the song "I'm a sexy motherfucker" playing in the background hehe we was tagged, it was easy to find when there wasn't much tagged post.

- There's moments of ppl filming something/themselves and he just comes and photobombs it lol he is just like thiss 👏 showing his tongue and doing a funny face and such. One of those I saw it on the IG of a Das Boot cast member I actually already followed before.

- this group was such a blast. There's a few pictures, one of them he's in a dress, he has white stockings on til his thighs, heels and all haha lovely

- His improv-group.. he was almost in tears singing "I believe I can fly" with the group on their last day.. But he was happy! A mix of emotions. He loves everyone, he expresses his love a lot to people in general, he says it and adds heart emojis to make sure haha you can see his comments going on IG of his cast friends, especially from Das Boot (I followed a lot of the guys). So, about always commenting something funny on people's posts.. I didn't saved those, so I forgot most of it, but one I remember was that someone posted a video of a hailstorm and he was like "what are u doing, free ice!! Go grab them" hahaha

- Max has that Noah picture where he's peaking by a wall (you know that one Baran posted) printed and framed! 👏

- Things he’s pretty much always with: his backpack and his big headphones (it's always on his neck. At almost every picture, from every year, with different people etc. I was confused when he had normal headphones at his farm storys. Maybe he forgot them in Berlin 😭. Besides those, his rings, necklaces and bracelets (always, for years and years! Same ones, even). He uses frequently on premieres, as I saw it. Sometimes they also show up on his characters in his one-episode works!! Hahah is so nice when that happens. You can notice this on my screencaps.

- that pic of him that is everywhere now (with glasses, holding a bottle of champagne), I posted that months ago.. There's 2 more pics and 1 video. One pic, he is pretending the automatic lighter that's on the table is a Harry Potter wand (but I think I cropped the table, right.. I can't remember). This was actually posted by Max himself and he tagged his friend who took it. I went to see if they posted smt and there was a picture where he is literally biting the cork of that bottle off with his teeth Lmaoo, and one video.. he is talking on the phone trying to block the view with his feet.. this man!!

- he really doesn't care about buying too much unnecessary clothes and shoes and stuff. He is mindful of his things and the environment!! 

- there's a video of him on the set of Der Zauberlehrling, I need to recall where I got that from (maybe I could share this one. I'm not sure), he is messing with the broom and someone asks him "hey Max, what's that animal?" and points to the fluffy microphone. He says "it's a fucked up coala bear" (in english) 😂

Again.. I can't say names or anything, cause ppl are not mindful! Like.. I know I'm probably weird, but only for myself and my FBI office LOL I don't go over there and follow/reply to all these people’s posts and storys or take their videos and tag Max on them, this is just not.... nah. I'll always be respectful (yeah, some older stuff has gifs, cause he had like 10k followers, and 5 fans on tumblr lol But i never sent/tag him in anything personal directly.. that’s why i only posted on tumblr for the past year, in fact! I never thought things would be the way they are now a year later.. so, newer stuff it's not posted/gif nor ever will). I don't want him to be weirded out and like, disappear from IG!! I think about these things.. when people are being weird and stuff towards him. I don’t know how ppl don’t think about this when tagging him recklessly in random pictures and videos!!!

I wish he had more interviews, so we could know more proper stuff about him. (The few interviews he has are translated on my IG highlight. There's still an 8min interview missing there, cause I'm contemplating about being more of a bother to german speaking people, since I only have basic german..

[HINTS] Two times Weizhou visited his sick ‘friend’ Jingyu?

Some of you might have known it already but I’ll post it for those who are new to YuZhou fandom ♡

        1. THE FIRST TIME

✩ On 160411 Jingyu from Beijing to Shanghai

That evening he updated his weibo

→ Trans: Gloriously fell ill. (Poor our baby Whale)

✩ Meanwhile Weizhou was still in Beijing on 11th because he had to record iQIYI Music show.

✩ One fine day passed and then much to everyone’s surprise, Weizhou suddenly appeared at his friend’s performance in Shanghai on 13th!! 

Omfg I swear people were like “O_O what the hell is going on?? How could he come back to Shanghai so fucking secretly??”

Yeah he hadn’t appeared at the airport or train station as usual because he really drove his car about 12 hours during the night from Beijing to Shanghai.

A fan asked him why he suddenly came back, Weizhou said :“Miss home ah”

Oh well what a nice answer! We’d have believed you if next time you hadn’t done it again.

   2. THE SECOND TIME

→ He looked quite tired and didnt talk much. He also got some small rashes on his face T__T

✩ Meanwhile on that day Weizhou recorded ‘Avenue of star: Special edition CCTV3’ (though his scenes were all cut off due to the fucking ridiculous ban haizz) 

And that evening, he updated his IG after finish filming 

→ He uploaded it quite late (about 10 or 11pm) with the caption “See u later~” ?? Anything cryptic here??

✩ And that night, there was rumour saying that Weizhou went back to Shanghai again. In fact, fans were extremely confused because there weren’t any photos or info at all, and no one was really sure about it.

And then 160612 Chen Wen at Shanghai airport said (according to a fanacc): ”Is the whole world in Shanghai now? ZhouZhou brother is in Shanghai, Big brother (that’s what he usually calls Jingyu) too.”  Thank you for your precious info haha

Actually there was a screencap of the fanacc but I didn’t save it T_T But it was true and the main point here is why Weizhou secretly drove his car back to Shanghai again!! Just right when Jingyu seemed to get sick?

Okay I don’t wanna comment anything else because everything seemed so freaking obvious. Why more than 10 hours of driving a car meanwhile he could go by plane or train which were much faster and less tired… Maybe he just wanna visit his sick ‘friend’ secretly but failed haha

That’s everything I can recall from my memory and hope you guys enjoy it. Of course I may have missed out some other small details but these are the main points ^^
