I am not sure if I made this up but I swear in Brian’s episode of NDA he and Dave refer to Sam as their little boy and I thought it was adorable. I need to know this clip exists and I’m not going insane. I think it’s around 11:30 in the episode.

but also. you're right, it is so adorable!! look how proud they are of him!! i feel like sometimes Sam's just a little guy to all of them, you know. like, also when he was worried about the getaway crew and recounted how Valentina told him that he should stop worrying about the crew so much. or when Amy part-jokingly part-sincerely said that he was trying to be nice about her reality tv obsession and said something about her genre knowledge instead of joking about it. like, sometimes in a game sense he fucks them over but sometimes he's just. a little guy

Brian: "I did the collaboration with Sam without your involvement. I hadn't known you yet."

Dave: "Yeah, but you guys hadn't met in real life I think --"

B: "That was my first time meeting him in person."

D: "He was also, like, twelve at that time, so."

B: "He was very young."

D: "He was."

B: "He's grown up a lot. He's our little boy. So proud."

D: "Let's make this whole show about how much our little boy has grown. He's never gonna listen."

B: "I did this on the karat podcast. Where I just talked about Sam how much -- so much, and how proud I was of him and they never released it and I'm so glad."
