this morning i heard someone nonironically refer to themselves as an "anxious girlie," aloud, and i now have to go retroactively expunge the term "girlie" from all of my vocabulary whatsoever

#we all get that when i was using it here it was tongue-in-cheek. right. right #there's no way you can hear the phrase Tumblr Girlie and not find it kinda cheeky right.#(i do think there's an interesting linguistic phenomenon where some things come across WAY better in written form #and this is why the writing in FF7-9 *feels* superior to the writing in FF10 and FF13 #even though in an objective comparing-the-scripts way i'm not certain that's the case!)
