there was a mental health workshop today during orientation training, nd in all honesty, even though I’ve done this exercise enough times, this time’s a lil different. maybe because everyone always say the same thing “you’re reminded that you’re not alone” or “it’s good to be vulnerable” or something along those lines. nd yes, even though I do agree (to an extent), there’s also that notion where you still feel alone and unable/incapable of sharing urself to others. we all say “oh, we’re your support system” and “we’re always here for you,” but after the workshops over, you look around, and every1′s in their own group with their own people, doing their own thing, nd you start to realize that you only have yourself.
