#I'm just SAYING. what if essek wasn't as alone and isolated as he thought he was/tried to be#how terrible would it be for him to realize that the reason he wasn't caught sooner was because he had people covering his tracks#everyone's selfish and everyone wants to protect the thelyss family name and deirta and verin don't want to see essek die before his time#crazy to me. deirta and verin are consecuted and essek isn't. doesn't it make sense that they would try to protect that short life of his#anyway. deirta is a good mom. she did her best. it's not her fault that essek is Like That#and. there HAS to be a reason why essek told the nein that they can trust verin. I think verin knooows. I think deirta knows.#essek does not know that they know.
