Experienced Bathroom Renovator

A small family run business with an excellentreputation seeks to employ a full-time bathroom renovator with all round experience in bathroom renos including, but not limited to;

·plastering

·demolition

·carpentry

·bathroom plumbing

·waterproofing

Having already built an outstanding reputation in the bathroom renovation industry, the Victorian Bathroom Company’s bathroom renovator will maintain this through a high standard of workmanship, quality and attention to detail. This is a varied and interesting job encompassing al laspects of trades.

About the role Reporting directly to the Business Owner, the successful candidate’s duties will include but not be limited to:

·Bathroom renovations – demolition to fit-off

· Carpentry

· Studwork

·Plasterboarding and plastering

· Preparation of both wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces

·Waterproofing

·Removal and disposal of floor and wall tiles

·Ripping out of existing bathroom suites

·Knowledge of bathroom plumbing and renovations

·This is a long-term ongoing opportunity for the right individual

Please do NOT apply if you are only looking for short-term work or are a sole trader looking for sub-contractor work.

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 07:30-16:00 (overtime is available)

Role requirements; Skills &experience

·Australian citizen or PR applicants only

·Minimum 4 years trades experience in the specified trades

·Own ABN essential (for first 3 months’ probation)

· Full clean driving license

· Basic tools

·Attention to detail / high standard of workmanship

·Reliable – excellent time keeping skills and attendance record

·Can follow direction and instruction

·Fluent in English, both spoken and written

·Tidy worker

·Courteous and customer service orientated
