im glad i found someone else who doesn't like really like the nfil sibs i thought they were pretty dull, especially compared to the muspell sibs who i really liked. the love for hrid is confusing to me, since he barely appeared and didnt show much of his personality when he was there. im not mad they released him since theyre releasing all the book 2 characters, but i just dont like them. i only really found guunthra interesting (sorry if you dont want negativity on your blog)

agreeeeeeed, and i know plenty of other people who don’t like them so we’re definitely not alone. but also like, i can put up with a little blandness but what really drove home my dislike for them was the blatantly racist juxtaposition of nifl and muspell, ylgr and helbindi’s introduction especially was so bad. THEN to add insult to injury right at the end hrid becomes yet another male character who inherits the throne after the original female heir dies/abdicates/whatever because of course he does. so yeah. i’ve got my fingers crossed we’re at least getting a muspell forging bonds soon bc sigh, the things i’m putting myself through rn for accessories. (and sjfldkjfkd i complain all the time, you don’t have to worry about negativity here.)
