tw: $u|c|d3 idealation
Midnight fell in Broomstown. Everyone in town is probably in the confines of their garage, or their beds, sleeping peacefully.
But this wasn’t the case for Poli.
This was a common occurrence for him, not that he cared about insomnia or the citizen’s lives, but simply for the safety of the headquarters. Sometimes he’d sleep in, and sometimes he didn’t sleep at all.
And that didn’t matter.
He faced the front desk of the headquarters, his eyes eerily open. There was Jin’s chair, basking in the dark. Sometimes he thought of life without their manager, practically their mother. Sometimes he didn’t want to. Sometimes he wondered if he’d never been created.
Sometimes.
He sighed, his eyes darting around the room. The lack of activity had bored Poli to an extent, but his eyes didn’t flutter. He was still wide awake, thinking about their leader. Probably sleeping in her room, cozy and fleeting.
The radio rang, startling Poli. His headlights faced the red button.
He transformed into his robocar counterpart and pressed the button. “Hello?” he said softly, careful not to wake Amber and Roy, waiting for a civilized response. One more prank call and he might go insane.
“Uh. hey.”
Poli raised his eyebrow at the unexpected voice on the other line. “What is it, Lifty?”
The young forklift shuddered. “So, uh, Jin’s here…”
What?
“What?” Poli gawked, “What’s she doing there?” He couldn’t even fathom about what happened, what will happen.
“She’s spinning and laughing and swaying everywhere,” Lifty said with the highest amount of concern Poli had heard from any citizen. Metal clunking and a high-pitched squeal. “Ow! Please hurry and pick her up, I can’t leave her alone in the port…”
“Okay.” Poli immediately put down the phone before Lifty could even finish saying “thank you”.
Poli was sure he passed the speed limit when he drove to the port. The sense of urgency was more than any of their rescues. It made his thoughts run frantically, his gas pressure high.
He arrived, panting heavily. His eyes spotted Lifty and Jin limping on him helplessly. Lifty’s eyes lock with his. “Poli!” he waves his left forklift, before putting it down to put Jin in balance.

Poli ran to them. “What happened?” he noticed the alcohol bottle in Jin’s hand, putting the pieces together.
“I found her here talking to herself…” Lifty replied.
Jin looked rough. Usually braided hair in shambles, her orange outfit smeared with stains, her face red and puffy. Clearly Lifty had the mindset of a child, as he described her as “drinking juice and went insane”.
Jin laughed, “Oh, Poli, you’re here?” the tone of her voice weirdly shifted. “Haha, you’ve come to- come to pick me up?” she tumbled her way off of Lifty. Poli caught her before she could hit the ground. “Oh! You caught me! You’re always so strong…”
Poli sighed. “What have you gotten yourself into?” Jin just laughed. “I’m having fun! Life’s a bitch, y’know.”
Lifty flinched. “Did she just-”
“Thank you, Lifty.” Poli spouted, cutting Lifty’s words. He gave a small smile before turning around, carrying Jin in his arms. The bottle of alcohol fell to the ground.
Poli stopped at a cliff perfectly gazing at the stars. Max came here and it certainly wasn’t a fond memory, but the outlook butchered his bad views on the part.
He put Jin down, she immediately flopped herself on the grass.
“What did you do?” Lifty’s response wasn’t enough for him.
“Yes!” Jin beamed drunkenly, “I had no reason to, but I- I did!”
“Jin,” he repeated sternly.
“I- I don’t know,” she said sadly, before bursting into chuckles. She sat up, flimsily moving herself next to Poli. “Sometimes I feel… like nothing.”
“Like I am nothing.”
Poli looked at her, shocked and sympathetic. “What are you saying?”
“Do I even help you guys?” she asked, her mood dropping down. “Ugh, I hate my life!” she hits her head on the log next to Poli. “I jus’ wanna die.”
“Don’t say that.” Poli cried, his voice unnaturally coarse. He went to Jin’s side. “You help us in more ways than one! You lead us, you fix us, you raise us.” he put his large hand on her shoulder, though it touched her back as well.
“Bullshit,” Jin groaned, taking Poli’s hand off of her. “All my dreams are shattered, all my inventions fail-”
“Not all of them.” Poli was desperate now. He wanted to cry but he couldn’t. Jin looked away, tears forming on the corners of her eyes.
“Sorry,” she implored. “I am not enough for this.”
“You will never be not enough. You are more than enough.”
"How can you be so sure?" Jin sobbed.
"Because i'm here." Poli replied, smiling for comfort. "We're here. Roy, Amber, Helly, we're all here because of-
because of you."
"Look at us now, we're helping the town, we're in the pinnacle of society. And it's because of you." If only he could cry, he would wail buckets.
"I guess- guess you're right." Jin's tears were flowing, but her laughing didn't seize.
"Thank you."
Poli's grin was higher than the moon.
"We should go home now."
Comforting words were thrown around as the dim moonlight shined on them.
“Awh, I wish I had a relationship like that.”
“They’re not dating, idiot. It’s them looking out for each other. Unlike you and I."
“Shut up.”

Fork lift rental: A Smart Choice for Your Material Handling Needs
Forklifts are essential machines in industries that involve heavy lifting, material handling, and warehouse management. Whether you’re running a construction site, managing a warehouse, or overseeing manufacturing processes, forklifts make it easier and more efficient to move large loads. But when it comes to acquiring a forklift, many businesses face a critical decision: Should they buy or rent? For those who need flexibility and cost savings, fork lift rental often proves to be the ideal solution.
In this blog, we’ll explore the advantages of renting forklifts, how to choose the right forklift for your needs, and why fork lift rental is a strategic choice for businesses of all sizes.
Why Renting a Forklift is a Smart Move
Renting a forklift offers several significant benefits, making it a preferred option for many businesses. Here are some key reasons why fork lift rental can be advantageous:
1. Cost Savings
Buying a forklift can require a substantial investment, which may not be feasible for businesses that only need the equipment for a short period or on an intermittent basis. Fork lift rental allows you to avoid the large upfront costs associated with purchasing while still gaining access to the machinery you need. This frees up capital that can be invested in other aspects of your business, such as expanding operations or improving services.
2. No Maintenance Hassles
Forklifts require regular maintenance and occasional repairs, which can be costly and time-consuming. When you opt for a fork lift rental, the responsibility for maintenance falls on the rental company. This ensures that the forklift is in good working condition when you need it, without the added stress of managing upkeep. Additionally, renting means you don’t have to worry about the depreciation of the equipment over time.
3. Flexibility for Different Projects
Not all projects require the same type of forklift. For example, you might need a small electric forklift for indoor warehouse use or a heavy-duty diesel forklift for outdoor construction work. Fork lift rental gives you the flexibility to choose the right machine for each job, without being tied to a single model. This allows you to handle a wide range of projects with the right equipment, increasing productivity and efficiency.
4. Access to the Latest Models
The forklift industry is constantly evolving, with new models offering improved efficiency, safety features, and performance. Renting gives you access to the latest forklift models without the need to upgrade your own fleet. Whether you need the newest technology for safety compliance or improved performance, fork lift rental provides you with up-to-date equipment for your specific needs.
5. Scalability
If your business experiences seasonal fluctuations or short-term spikes in demand, renting forklifts allows you to scale your equipment needs accordingly. You can rent additional forklifts when demand is high and return them when the project is complete, ensuring you only pay for what you need when you need it. This scalability makes fork lift rental a cost-effective option for businesses that require flexible solutions.
Choosing the Right Forklift for Your Needs
When opting for fork lift rental, selecting the right machine for your specific needs is crucial. Here are some factors to consider when choosing a forklift:
1. Lifting Capacity
Forklifts come in various capacities, so it’s important to choose one that can handle the weight of the materials you’ll be moving. Overloading a forklift can lead to accidents and damage to both the machine and the goods being transported. Assess your project’s requirements to determine the appropriate lifting capacity.
2. Height Requirements
Consider the height to which you’ll need to lift materials. Forklifts vary in their lifting heights, and selecting the right one ensures you can safely and efficiently stack or retrieve items from high shelves or racks.
3. Indoor vs. Outdoor Use
Where you’ll be using the forklift will also dictate the type you need. Electric forklifts are typically better suited for indoor use, particularly in warehouses with smooth floors, as they produce no emissions and operate quietly. On the other hand, gas or diesel forklifts are more suitable for outdoor use and can handle rougher terrain.
4. Power Source
Choosing the right power source is essential for optimal performance. Electric forklifts are environmentally friendly and ideal for indoor operations, while diesel and propane-powered forklifts provide the strength needed for outdoor or heavy-duty applications. Depending on your project’s environment, select the forklift with the appropriate power source for maximum efficiency.
5. Attachments and Accessories
Depending on the nature of your work, you may need special attachments such as side shifters, fork extensions, or clamps. When considering fork lift rental, ensure that the rental company can provide the necessary attachments to meet your specific needs.
Maximizing the Value of Your Fork lift rental
To get the most out of your fork lift rental, it’s important to plan strategically and ensure that you’re fully utilizing the equipment during the rental period. Here are some tips to help you maximize the value of your rental:
Plan Ahead: Assess your project needs and timeline to determine the right forklift for the job. By planning in advance, you can avoid unnecessary rental fees and ensure you have the right equipment when you need it.
Work with a Reputable Rental Company: Choose a rental provider with a proven track record for well-maintained equipment and excellent customer service. A reputable rental company will offer reliable machinery, transparent pricing, and ongoing support throughout your rental period.
Train Your Operators: Make sure that all forklift operators are properly trained and certified to use the specific model you’ve rented. Proper training ensures safety and productivity while minimizing the risk of accidents or damage to equipment and materials.
Inspect the Equipment: Before using the forklift, inspect it to ensure it’s in good working condition. Report any issues to the rental company immediately to avoid delays and potential liability.
Return on Time: Avoid additional fees by returning the forklift on or before the agreed rental period ends. Effective planning can help you make the most of your rental period without incurring extra costs.
Conclusion
For businesses that require material handling equipment on a short-term or project-specific basis, fork lift rental offers an economical, flexible, and convenient solution. Whether you’re managing a warehouse, overseeing a construction project, or handling logistics, renting a forklift allows you to access the right equipment without the long-term financial commitment of ownership.
By opting for fork lift rental, you can focus on your core operations while enjoying the benefits of up-to-date machinery, cost savings, and scalability. The next time you’re faced with heavy lifting tasks, consider the many advantages of fork lift rental and make the smart choice for your business.

The Role of Bulk Fueling in Large-Scale Construction Projects
Tumblr media
Large-scale construction projects depend heavily on industrial machinery to sustain their productivity. The typical machinery and vehicles requiring fuel on a construction site are dump trucks, bulldozers, forklifts, cranes, and excavators.
Bulk fuel delivery is the only way to ensure all the machinery and equipment remain fueled and operational on a large construction site. It involves scheduling a time and place for large quantities of fuel to be delivered to a client’s worksite or other preferred location.
Here are the top five ways that bulk fueling supports large-scale construction projects.
1) Increases Energy Efficiency
Bulk fuel delivery provides your construction site with high-quality, energy-efficient fuel to support the health of your truck and machinery engines. The fuel contains special additives to increase the lifespan of engines and ensure they consume less while sustaining the operations of the vehicles.
Energy-efficient fuel will save you money and limit the amount of maintenance you will need to do on your vehicles. That way, you can focus on the work required for your large-scale construction projects to satisfy your clients.
2) Refuel Bulk Storage Tanks
Bulk fuel delivery does not just deliver fuel to trucks, machines, and vehicles. It can also supply fuel to the bulk storage tanks on your construction site.
Storage tanks allow excess fuel storage for future use, so you do not have to wait for a mobile fuel delivery. Instead, you can go straight to your storage tanks and use fuel from them to keep your machines and construction operations running.
Since the bulk delivery contains high-quality fuel, it will remain viable and usable in your storage tanks for up to 12 months. That should be plenty of time for you to use the fuel to sustain the operations of your large construction projects.
3) Promotes Environmental Friendliness
More businesses are under pressure from the government and public to promote environmentally friendly operations. Bulk fuel deliveries can help your construction projects reduce carbon and greenhouse gas emissions because you will need fewer fuel deliveries throughout your construction project.
Depending on how much fuel you need for your large construction project, you may not need to request more than a few bulk fuel deliveries before completing the project. That means fewer fuel tankers and trucks need to burn fuel to deliver fuel to your construction sites.
4) Truck Fuel Levels
Bulk fuel deliveries come with innovative fuel management technology to track your fuel levels and request additional fuel when they get low. The advanced fuel tank monitoring technology can automatically track the fuel levels of your generators and fuel tanks.
For a large construction project, you will need this kind of assistance to track your on-site fuel availability so you don’t encounter problems later.
5) Save Time and Maintain Productivity
You will never have to waste time waiting in long lines at the gas station to obtain fuel for all the machines and vehicles on your construction site. In fact, you won’t even need to move your trucks and machines away from the construction site because the fuel will get delivered to them for you.
As a result, obtaining fuel for your fleet will not affect productivity on your construction site whatsoever.
