#me: god what if foxy's dad chooses to breed her to a mongrel?#god: ha! haha. lmao. lol. *special request booking*#like. foxy's dad says hes nice but they let his grooming go.#coworker who spoke to owners said the dog had grooming experience.#but what does that mean. bc if he's in rough shape and he loses patience with the process. will he stay behaved.#has he only been groomed once or twice. will i even be able to pick him up onto the table.#chows are reserved dogs that dont tend to broadcast their body language as much as other dogs#so theyre known to kinda. swing on you suddenly.#but theyre also stubborn and POWERFUL so if it starts fighting and thrashing on the table even trying to keep it safe becomes a bite risk#foxy's been coming to us since she was like. 4mo old#i dont know what to expect from this chow except that his coats in rough enough shape that i need him to be good for brushing and drying#its just a dog you have to actively train to be tolerant and a lot of people dont know that#my most eagle eyed no nonsense coworker is working with me that day so realistically she's gonna save me from myself#the nightmare scenario is this dog acts fine at checkin but cant be picked up or kenneled#at least thats a quick 'get yo fuckin dog bitch' moment but itll still derail the salon for an hour minimum#im not paid enough
