@lesenbyan and I have been marathoning the Swan Princess movies, and guys, they are - all of them - somehow better and worse than I'd imagined. Do recommend.
#from the christmas movie on they're in CGI instead of hand-drawn animation#and ohhhhhh my god ohhhhh my GOD it is NOT good CGI#but if you go into the movies with a kind of 'you know what sure this might as well happen' attitude#they're honestly pretty cute#the most recent one we watched was about derek and odette's daughter and her best friend being spies#to stop derek's mother from marrying a con artist#it's been my favorite so far#an earlier movie had an army of flying squirrels.#they are now RECURRING CHARACTERS.#one of them is a ghost who's kind of like a fairy godmother for the main cast.#the daughter became a pirate and saved lord rogers from being eaten by dinosaur mole porcupine things in another movie#...this series is wild
