Continuing with my ASOS reread...

- Jon continues to be my precious little emo son in his first chapter (also him and Robb and the snow?? They are the Weasley twins of Winterfell)

- and Dany... I just love her getting to be a young girl, I really love it. And her asking if aerys was good and gentle? Fuckkkkk

- I love bran’s wolf dreams so much... and I love how summer thinks about his brothers and sisters... and then when he wakes up Bran is being adorable as usual (though a bit of a stroppy little kid this chapter actually which I don’t mind, it feels real!). Him getting so pissed off with jojen and adoring meera <3

- Davos’s second chapter and it seems he has coronavirus. In all seriousness though, his desire to kill Mel and the way he blames her for his sons’ deaths just shines through here, as well as his love for Stannis which always shines through! His happiness Devan is alive <3 and also him and salla being the most amicable exes ever is perfect.

- also we get baby Shireen being precious in this chapter, along with baby Edric <3 AND patchface prophesising the red wedding. And finally axell, you fucker, how fucking dare you imprison poor Davos without letting him see his husband and when he’s not even recovered from a seriously dangerous few days stranded on a rock???
