im sorry if this is a headcannon,, but what nick/petnames do you think wakasa would call you

i feel like wakasa isn't really a fan of pet names. those sweet as heck endearments like babe, love, angel, etc. despite the chaos he caused with his 'take care of brahman's princess' line lmfao

he'd probably just call you by your given name. sometimes dummy (affectionate) or smth else that reminds him of you — like 'you ready to go, chipmunk?' bcos you look like one whenever you stuff your face with your favorite snack and he somehow finds that adorable; or a midget (if you're shorter than him) when you try to reach the top shelves and you plead for him to get the thing for you and in exchange he says, 'you're welcome, hobbit'; or if you're on the taller side, maybe he'd call you a long stick when you plop your lower limbs over his lap, raising his perfect eyebrows at you while you could only shrug at him in defiance.

tho i think he sometimes lets the sweetness come out — sometimes being the keyword around here. in the instances where you're bummed, dejected and utterly feeling like shit, he won't call you all those teasing nicknames he randomly came up with. he'd stay silent, rub your back to soothe you and just be there for you. once you feel like opening up to him, he'd listen and won't even try to tell you what you should do or what should have happened, but will always tell you: 'need me to beat some ass, princess?' and he meant that fully bcos nobody in this world is gonna bully you but him.

this is getting rlly long omg and i still have a lot to explain hsdjkfhskdg but basically, he only calls you those endearments when he feels like you need it. he wouldn't want you to be spoiled bcos this man lives to fluster you in the most unexpected times like it's his life's mission <3

also off-topic but... i rlly hc wakasa as a hopeless romantic lmao. like he wants to do something cute and planned for his s/o but just doesn't know how to, or he probably knows because of a certain black-haired, cigarette-powered gang leader but doesn't know if he can pull it off since wakasa is known to have an intimidating reputation. but trust me, in his mind, he likes to do all those cringe-y, sappy stuff with you. maybe even entertains the idea of matching outfits on a date, bringing you flowers at work, posting you on his social media and things like that. but like i said, he's a stoic guy. and he won't let anyone (not even his closest friends) tease him at all for being whipped so you can just suck his annoying coolness up bcos never will that happen. nope.

also don't demand him to be romantic, it takes away his satisfaction.
