B: Bullets with Butterfly Wings - Frida Snell. I know the original is by Smashing Pumpkins but nothing quite makes me feel like her cover. A song that is dear to me, but for dark times mostly

I: Inchtomania - ASP. A wonderfully twisted translation of the middle high German Palestine song and a core piece of the Black Butterfly cycle

T: Touched by the Crimson King - Demons and Wizards. This album which is based on Stephen King’s works rekindled my love for more traditional metal and its first track by the same name just slaps.

C: Closer - Nine Inch Nails. Strongly connected to a RP character of mine to me, makes my skin crawl

H: Hellbent - Mystery Skulls. Always gives me goosebumps. If you haven’t watched Mystery Skulls Animated on YT please do

K: Kleid aus Rosen - Subway to Sally. Things that got me through edgy teenage years. Hummed it while I got my tattoo

I: Í Tokuni - Eivør. Ice witch summons the dead. Perfect video 10/10

N: Nobody - Mitski. A song about loneliness and yearning and not fitting in? Who would have thought

G: Girls - The Prodigy. It’s girls, what more can I say

O: On this Rock I will Build my Church -  Lord of the Lost. Hot queer goths singing with godly voices making occult metal while looking hot and not taking themselves seriously? What’s not to love

F: Feel so Numb - Rob Zombie. Something to scream in the shower

A: Alter Mann - Rammstein. One of the few Rammstein songs that has proper lyrics What kind of Rammstein fan would I be to leave them out?

N: Needles - System of a Down. Wouldn’t be here without them. Best album to get from “I want to cut something with a knife” to “I’m fine again” in about an hour

G: (The) Game - Disturbed. My love for this band has not aged well, they’re all “Blue Lives Matter” now and lick Trump’s boots. Their early stuff still means a lot to me though

M: (Duett) Minnelied der Incubi - ASP. A love song by demons on their way to kill you. My best friend and I performed it as our first gig in front of 300 people back in highschool, good memories. Found a translation video that captures the different voices and meanings pretty well

A: Apathy - Spetsnaz. Old school EBM at its best

R: Rhinestone Eyes - Gorillaz. One of those songs that puts my brain on auto pilot. Can listen to it 200 times in a row without noticing
