Why I don’t include outfits in my follower mods.
I get this question a lot, and while I do understand why people ask this and why they feel that it might be false advertising (although a quick glance at the mod description gives you all the answers), including armors from other mods is something I will never do. Probably. Here is why:
99% of the time, I will mash pieces from several mods together to make an outfit, and there is no way in hell I am ever going to go permission hunting for several mods (and wait for a response) every time I make a character. Also, in most cases, piece A in the outfit will only look good if I can combine it with piece B, and that means I need permission for both, or I will have to remake the entire outfit.
I always link or at least mention what mods are used. The modders who have created the amazing stuff my characters wear in the pictures have put a hell of a lot more time and work into their mods than I have into mine, and if you want them in your game, go download and endorse them. It’s not that hard, and they deserve it.
And last but not least - let’s be real, most people will equip the follower with something else anyway, so I would have gone through all the work mentioned above for no reason.
