"Only fifth?" Holding the corpse up underneath its armpits, Marko paused to glance over at them with a raised eyebrow. That number was poor -- or was it average? They tried to space their victims out evenly, so as not to raise too much suspicion, but sometimes the hunger was insatiable. Every single milk carton in stores displayed multiple different people who went missing that week. Santa Carla was nicknamed the 'Murder Capital' for a reason, and one of those was standing directly across from Coyote with a giddy grin on his face. Those pearly white fangs were now stained a bright red, his mouth completely covered from where he latched onto his victim's throat. Like a rabid dog, he made short work of it; there was barely anything left by the time he was done. "Are you losing your appetite, Menendez?" As he asked the question, he released his hold. A heavy thump! sounded as the slab of meat folded against the dirt, head lolling to one side and empty eyes staring into the abyss.

Rolling out his shoulders, Marko dropped into a deep squat and stared down at the corpse in avid concentration. It seemed like a long time before he finally glanced up at the other and asked what they should do with him. Burn or bury? Their answer had him laughing wildly. He liked their sense of humour. It was why he invited them out to ride with him in the first place, but unfortunately, their little jaunt turned into a full-blown confrontation with a Surf Nazi who had no appreciation for Marko nearly running him down. Good riddance -- one less of them! Who would miss him? They kept recruiting more, so somebody would soon replace him.

"Yeah, you're right. I never thought to ask him..." As he continued speaking, the vampire started pulling at the laces of the corpse's shoes. They were some sweet kicks and he wanted them. He would never wear them; he just liked the look of them. Suddenly jumping to his feet, Marko gave the other a wide smile. "What about leaving him on the train tracks? That freight knocked the shoes right off his feet!" The bridge was often full of kids messing around, risking their lives for the sake of adrenaline. He should know. It was where they forced the oldest Emerson to hang onto the bars underneath as part of their little initiation. It was the most fun they ever had, witnessing the fear in his eyes as the train rattled by overhead. "Obliteration station."

ENT Rewatch Starlog, 02 May, 2024: Episode 4.01 and 4.02 “Storm Front Part 1 and 2”

After being attacked by P-51s, Tucker and Mayweather return to Enterprise and determine through Hoshi’s intercepts that they are in fact in 1944…but in a timeline where Nazis (and man, do I hate Nazis) have invaded the United States and hold much of the Northeast. Archer is there, being transported as a POW when the convoy is attacked. He’s captured by the Resistance, who assume he must be Navy based on his uniform.

Enterprise has surprise visitors: the Time Traveling Daniels has appeared, but is a mess with his body all aging at different rates after unsyncing with time. Also, quietly, the Suliban Silik has snuck on board, eventually stealing a shuttlepod.  Daniels reveals that the Temporal Cold War has turned ugly, and one particular time terrorist, Vosk, has escaped with his followers to this Earth. He’s building a time machine and if successful will return to the 29th Century and START THE TEMPORAL COLD WAR. 

Archer is questioning the resistance about why he’s saw an alien when he woke up, and they lead him to an informant who has been providing information to one of the aliens posing as a Nazi. As they capture and question him, he reveals to Archer Enterprise is in orbit; but the mobsters turned freedom fighters are more than a bit taken aback by the alien and kill him, which alerts the patrols. Archer takes the alien’s communication device and with a young woman who’s been helping him named Alicia is able to beam up before they are shot or captured by Nazis. 

Beaming up he finds that Silik has stolen a shuttle. Trip and Mayweather went down and blew it up, but were captured. Archer briefly questions Daniels and resolves to stop Vosk. 

Vosk meanwhile, sees an opportunity. He offers to trade back Trip and Travis for Archer to consider helping him. Vosk promises to restore the timeline Archer knows in the 22nd Century if he does. Phlox realizes the Trip they have brought back is really Silik who has left poor Tucker in a closet in the Nazi HQ.

Silik offers to help Archer though in a plan to sneak into the compound to lower their shields so Enterprise can destroy the time machine. Archer also reaches out to Alicia and the Mobsters again to help put together a distraction. As the Resistance breeches the gate, Archer and Silik sneak in.

  Silik is killed in the process, but Archer finds Trip and lowers the shields.  They all get out as Enterprise fights its way through laser-equipped Stukkas to drop a couple of photonic torpedoes on the Nazi base (good riddance) just as Vosk is trying to return to the future. 

An again healthy Daniels shows Archer the timeline reasserting itself and tells him the Temporal Cold War is over, and the 22nd Century will never be troubled by it again. Enterprise phases back into 2154 near Earth where they are met by a fleet of Earth and Vulcan ships.

It’s not that there’s anything wrong with these episodes per se, but I’m still griping about not getting a proper finish to the Xindi storyline before taking this little diversion. Nice to see the Suliban back, and indeed, I would like to see them get some more mention elsewhere in Trek; is Silik dead, or will the timeline reset restore him? Indeed, has the war ending meant Future Guy will never modify the Suliban in the first place? Is Future Guy connected to the Romulan temporal agents we see operating on Earth in the 21st Century in “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow” on Strange New Worlds?  Come on, New Trek- we need a little more Enterprise love.

One big question I do have here…these dozens of ships that fly out to meet the NX-01 when they come home; where were they when the Xindi weapon was about to blow up Earth and the NX-01 and Shran’s Andorian cruiser had to fight it alone?

I suppose we can say the timeline was already shifting when that happened, but the episode doesn’t say that. I think I would have preferred the idea that Vosk and the Space Nazis were unleashed by the Sphere Builders after their network was destroyed by Trip and T’Pol, but no one mentions it.  I’d say considering how good the rest of Season 4 is we should wonder why this one doesn’t quite connect, but it’s a Berman and Braga story, and their other contribution to season 4 is “These Are the Voyages.”

So, since we STILL don’t quite have the Xindi arc resolved, looks like I have one more review to do.

NEXT VOYAGE: The Xindi Arc FINALLY gets its close when the NX-01 makes it “Home.”

since apparently you can get banned from tumblr for posting endgame spoilers instead of, yknow, actually being a reprihensible human shaped pile of SHIT, im going to trash this movie so fucking hard. ive been waiting for an excuse to rip this movie and its fan a new one

so basically it starts with tony stark being all emotional because hes dying in space but all the dramatic tension is removed because you already know hes going to live, and it’s also removed because tony stark is not a person people should feel emotional over. hes a pile of garbage given sentience, hes literally one of the worst characters in the mcu, which isnt saying a lot because any attempt by the writers and directors of the ACTUALLY GOOD MOVIES to make the characters interesting got flushed down the toilet in civil war and infinity war

so anyway captain marvel shows up, saves tony and nebula, then they make a plan to kill thanos because they found him. they find him, he says he destroyed the infinity stones, and thanos is dead 20 minutes into the movie. i applaud this choice because its actually genuinely funny. there are some parts of the movie that are enjoyable, and watching that purple scrotum chinned pile of refuse get his head chopped off was very enjoyable

then we move on to like 5 years later, scott lang aka antman finally comes out of the quantum realm or some shit, and thats when the seeds of time travel are planted. fun fact about time travel in this movie. it isnt like bill and ted time travel and it isnt like dbz time travel so it makes zero goddamned sense whatsoever. this is nothing new, time travel never makes any fucking sense, and trying to explain it will make even less sense than just fucking DOING the thing

anyway, they get the gang back together, hulk is now the unholy amalgamation of bruce banner and the hulk. he then dabs, blah blah blah, time travel bs, they get thor, hes fat now, his fatness is the focus of a lot of jokes that dont land and it just plays off like theyre making fun of fat people for being fat. his trauma is played for jokes, korg plays fortnite, blah blah blah.

so anyway while theyre Getting The Gang Back Together, tony has had a kid in the past 5 years. they really do a lot to humanize tony stark and the fact that he is happy with his current state in life where thanos won and hes trying to move on is very humanizing, which is odd considering that tony stark is a sub human pile of melted human waste

anyway, tony figures out time travel because they REALLY want him to be the hero instead of literally anyone else who is more deserving. they make stupid time travel suits which look ugly as shit and they wear over their normal costumes, which is really funny

the next like hour and a half of the movie plays out like a time travel comedy. tony and steve fuck up getting the space stone, they have to time travel AGAIN into steves past, he has an emotional moment seeing his former flame whose name i forgot because pretty much any mention of her past captain america 1 was to increase manpain. isnt fridging fun? speaking of fridging, they send clint and natasha to get the soul stone. because i said speaking of fridging, i assume youll be able to figure out the rest, but because i dont trust anyone who likes endgame to think critically about tropes, natasha dies so clint can get the soul stone. they really really REALLY could have done it the other way, but no, its not as emotional if a man dies for a woman or some bullshit. whatever, it was scarlett johansen so er character dying wasnt THAT much of a tragedy lmao

anyway everyone gets their stones, nebula gets captured by thanos of the past, and then a bunch of shit happens, new nebula from the past who still likes thanos brings him to the future, he starts going on and on and on about making a new universe and destroying this one. before that they make the infinity gauntlet, hulk snaps, brings everyone back, again... blah blah blah blah blah stupid shit that we all already knew was going to happen

anyway, thanos is back, because they REALLY didnt know how to introduce a villain that was good enough for this movie, whatever. they all go off to fight thanos, he beats thor captain america and tony stark up. the entire fight is 100% fanservice because as soon as other people show up from doctor stranges portals its a total EVERYONE IS HERE moment, which like. those are always enjoyable, every character from the past showing up to kick the bad guy in the dick. its a hard trope to fuck up and i congratulate the russo brothers for realizing this. captain america gets to hold mjolnir, he beats the shit out of thanos, thanos also gets to hold mjolnir, its just a giant 30 minute long fanservice party. everyone is here! blah blah i dont fucking care. anyway, the climax of the battle is thanos smacks spiderman out of the air while he has the new infinity gauntlet, he puts it on, and everyone starts making sure he doesnt snap. also captain marvels role in the movie is really really lame because she shows up for like the first 15 minutes, and then shows up for like the last 15 minutes. it fucking sucks, shes like the only good character in this entire movie.

anyway, tony steals the infinity stones, integrates them into his armor, snaps thanos and his buddies away, and then dies like a bitch. good riddance but also whatever, his death is treated like a totally emotional thing like hes redeemed himself even though hes basically done nothing to actually redeem himself except for killing thanos, which like, anyone could have done given the chance. it seriously pisses me off that they gave him the kill instead of someone who deserved it, like nebula. all signs were pointing to nebula and gamorrah from the past killing thanos, finally givng us some righteous feminine fury that this movie desperately needed. unfortunately, it doesnt happen. the battle is won, they have tonys funeral, and they remake the quantum time machine so they can let steve go back to return the infinity stones from whence they came. steve doesnt come back, and it looks like he got to live his full life like he wanted to, which i guess good for him because hes like one of the only good characters in the movie. seeing old man steve was nice, and he of all people deserved to be happy. the movie ends, everything is over, and i just wasted 3 hours and 10 dollars. congratulations me, you just wasted your life on a movie you knew you were going to hate.

Howdy everybody! I recently made a post that was uh... ahem... "controversial", where I told all Trump supporters, MAPS (Minor Attracted People), TERFS (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists), and Nazis to leave my blog. This post resulted in me losing several followers, and I think I received another death threat too😅. I would like to apologise for, welp, nothing really😄. That post (and this one hopefully) was designed SPECIFICALLY to upset those people and get them to unfollow/block me! My blog is a safe space, and I don't want anyone from any hateful organizations to be able to comment on my posts (especially considering that I know many of my followers are oppressed people).

When I first lost some followers, I was really really bummed. But one of my followers reminded me via DMs that if those followers left me because of that post, then they must have been members of those organizations, so good riddance to them! Now if anything, I'm bummed that there were people following me that sympathized with terfs, nazis, etc, and I'm really glad they're gone!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not cool with what tumblr is doing - it's some massive bullshit - and that's when I don't even mind that there'd be regulations on the internet. I don't mind that there'll be websites that ban adult themes (their problem to figure out who'll ever use the site), in fact I think it'd be a good thing if content was at least roughly reviewed to prevent shit like hate speech and sexism. What really ticks me off about tumblr is that they completely randomly decided that out of all their problems apparently sexual themes are the worst when everything much worse like the fucking nazis isn't lifted a finger against. The 'safe space for children' very clearly is a bad cover up for a try to make the site appealing to bigotted white parents of which america seems to have a sad majority almost worldwide. In the end it's just a desperate try to squeeze money from what was originally a charity project. Not even i would assume the site owners are that tremendously idiotic to be oblivious of their far right extremist groups and psychos. What they have demonstrated before though is their lust for money and you know what? I hate nothing more than hypocrisy. That alone is a reason for me to never again invest any of my time in this website. Tumblr management has never invested a single honest dollar in this, whatever redeemable quality it had was the xkit guy and his legacy. ALLEGORICAL STAR WARS

I read this article today. And beside his few grammatical errors, I found him to be missing the point of most of the Star Wars EU and probably even Star Wars in general. Here is the URL:

If you don’t deign to read this article, which I don’t care if you do, the author seems to take a gripe about several things, namely: The Yuuzhan Vong invasion, the term alien,  and xenophobic Palpatine portrayals.

He dislikes that a “hacky” “alien invasion” theme by a stronger than average opponent acts as an external influence. He claims he likes some of it especially since it gave us the groundwork for Kylo Ren in Jacen Solo, but good riddance to the Yuuzhan Vong (Despite that having a profound effect on Jacen Solo). Then he has a small diatribe about Palpatine not having to be “Space Hitler”Okay let’s address this first. I believe Star Wars is an allegory to real life. It’s inspired by real things, concepts, ideas, and practices in such a way where they can be studied and tested, it takes heavily from common history and obscure history (such as Kylo’s lightsaber being a flamberge or flame bladed sword found in German/Medieval history)Now let us see to his dislike of the term “alien” when dealing non human species. He dislikes the term being used to describe the Noghri and the Yuuzhan Vong in the books when the term was not used anywhere in the movies. Here is the definition of alien.

So the term alien can mean something foreign.The Noghri were a rather obscure race and the Yuuzhan Vong were the (third) extra-galactic race to threaten the Star Wars universe (the previous two being droid civilizations mostly from the comics).

Now, the author hates how black and white the conflict between the Galaxy and the Vong was. The man apparently doesn’t know that’s not how conflicts work. There were some who were apart of the Vong who became traitors assisted the Galaxy in surviving.

He also ignores the very real implication of the Vong. The Vong are allegorically the religious fanatics that threaten every balanced system, much like the Mandalorians the third or fourth additive in a dualistic society. It’s reasonable that they have superior weapons than lightsabers etc. because such things exist inside the Galaxy, with their probability increasing outside of it. In addition an all encompassing expansionary force is historically accurate going back even before Alexander the Great.

Next, are his gripes with Palpatine being space Hitler. Let us be clear, he IS space Hitler. The Empire IS Nazi Germany in space, right down to the world destroying devices. He was formed from and portrayed the idea of Hitler in the original trilogy, him being surrounded by alien races has no bearing on him being a xenophobe, such individuals exist and interact with other groups even if they dislike them. It seems more probable that Palpatine grew more xenophobic over the years. Originally the Empire’s forces were either entirely white or only entirely human males. So originally he was not only xenophobic but sexist as well, denying the origin of a character does not help people grasp that character. In-depth characters are necessary to a good story and the Vong were as Fett put’s it “A bit of  relief” after all the Sith/Jedi conflicts.

Still each has his opinion, I just dislike opinion pieces without substance. WORK ON YOUR OPINION’S AND EXPRESSION!!!!
