#idk maybe im just built different but#i never understood the appeal of movies over books and even tv shows#great big chunks with no stopping points to speak of except if you're lucky an intermission halfway through#and like idk. the words are just so slow when in books the whole thing is longer but. the words are fast in my brain#ppl complain about fucked up attention spans but honestly mine is fucked such that i can read for 8 hours almost straight#but cant watch a 2 hour movie without getting so bored of it#screaming into the abbyss
