brighter: is there anything in your life that has turned out in an unexpected way - for better or worse?

I guess everything about how moving across the country to a city I hated affected me. I guess feeling like I had nothing or no one for a long while really made me appreciate everything about myself and life more when I got better. like, savour it, you know? I'm so fucking lucky I got out because now I love life even more than before. losing touch with my friends for two years actually brought us closer together when we rekindled us. I wanted to get the fuck out of my house and move away at 18 because I thought my relationship with my parents was beyond repair but then I got meds and therapy and they started trying and fuck I love them so much because they changed 180 degrees and that's the hardest thing I can think of but they still did for me? and hey, I also made a bunch of new friends I really really value and wow stop rambling kavya but I'm really happy okay?!

I actually got over a grudge I've been holding for three (3) years recently and it feels amazing (: but yeah probably a few tiny ones against bullies/lesbophobic assnuts/people who were generally unnecessarily mean at school
