As we joked about me becoming a handmodel, I said my hands weren't made for that. He was silent for a moment, and said that he thinks my hands are beautiful.

Later that day, as I put my messy hair down and explained that I am wearing it like this because it hurts, he said "I thought we were beyond this". He did not hesitating for one bit when he went on to say he thinks I look good.

Also, the moment he mentioned that he didn't have any garage trips planned this weekend, and had the whole weekend for "girlfriend time". And so, we spend a whole bunch of time together. I asked if we could go on a hike, and so we did. He went along with whatever I had planned, having no expectations for me to slay the tour. He was chill and loving. On the way, we also talked about future moving plans. After he brainstormed about moving closer to his job, he mentioned the possibility of moving closer to the Netherlands, in case I can't find a job in Germany and end up working in the Netherlands. I explained how he just stomped me so deep into my feelings,,, insane.

In the evening, we talked and joked with our roommate. He asked my roommate multiple times if it was okay if he took the rice; he did not want to take it from her. I couldn't help but stare, in awe of the way I felt deep love for him, just by seeing him for who he is.

As I layed in bed next to him this night, I feel truly blessed to call him my boyfriend. "You can call me anytime", he responds.

the company is called kaedim3d, after getting blown up on twitter their website now requires you to sign up for an account AND to sign up for their way overpriced plans, which is insane

anyway, here is basically what the website is trying to sell to people

THIS is batshit insane to me. this is my problem with ai. these companies trying to sell the work of underpaid artists and peddling it as ai art. on their website it says that their models are generated with ai and then "looked over" by real artists, but i think that these are just... painfully handmodeled. none of them are usable, either. its crazy

like idk if its been talked about on here but a thing ive seen sometimes on twitter is that there are companies peddling their AI generated 3d models that turn out looking like soup. this on its own is not that bad, no one but a few solo devs who dont know better will end up actually using them because of how badly they turn out, but ive seen at least one company use real life 3d artists to sell their "products" and its kind of insane to look into

admittedly ive lost the screenshots and the posts, but ill put them here when/if i find them i dont really care enough right now though

ANYWAY some people were seeing job listings on linkedin for 3d artists that were really lowpaying and super demanding, asking for gameready models within 15 minutes of assignment, with only an ai generated image of a model to go off of, and then these models at put on sale for like 30 dollars

starting a new project, aiming for a six-month completion rate potentially.

Going to be attempting a 1:1 recreation of the RPD within blender, handmodelled, with similar textures, lighting, etc, hopefully with every item and object inside where it's supposed to be as well as an exterior + street segment. Most of this will be used in upcoming renders as I go, and I may post the completed work once I have finished it.

It will take a while, but I'll provide some updates.
