For Ace's birthday I want all of you to remember that he died the very same second he realized he wanted to live. He lived his whole life thinking he shouldn't exist, and he didn't actually care if he died. When he was actually put between life and death, his little brother risking it all to save him, he asked why the hell he wanted to live now. He was genuinely confused. He didn't understand why he wanted to live now that he was about to die. It's so unfair, right? To live when you don't want to and die when you want to live.
