He was a hero, but they treated him like a god.

He was worshiped for his strength and ingenuity. His unwavering bravery in the face of evil. People sang his praises over shattered rubble and jagged rooftops, their songs scattering shadows that danced through the streets.

He was their hope, placed upon a pedestal by adoring fans and wealthy politicians- even though he was just barely old enough to be considered an adult.

"He will never die!" They cheered. That was until twenty civilians and Ichor- the hero they proclaimed to be undying- were crushed by falling debris.

Alexander Davis Watson was immortal, just not for very long.

This is the story of how Tom Simons, a shockingly ordinary guy in a world full of extraordinary heroes, becomes a beacon of hope by perpetuating the legacy of the late hero Ichor, also known as Alex (Dave) Watson. With the help of Toby, Dave's family, and an understanding of how to swing a sword, Tommy will have to cheat two of the most dastardly villains on the planet- DMV lines, and homicidal maniacs.
