fabric for Kira's Lola Chrystal dress is here :)) cosplay tip: buy curtains!!! this is, like, so much velvet and I got it for at least half the price of what it would've cost if I'd gotten it at a fabric store. AND I get to use it as a backdrop for some photoshoots before I cut it up :))

#blew my mind when I learned that I did not have to use apparel fabric to make apparel. do whatever u want forever #the color isn't perfect but I'm ok with that. kira's dress is a brighter and more orangey red #I guarantee u that like two (2) ppl r gonna recognize the cosplay at all lol. who cares if the color's not an exact match #haven't bought the white satin yet bc I have to figure out how much I need. since I won't have a pattern for that part #and I really probably won't start this project for a few months.
