what songs do you guys listen to when you're grieving/confronting mortality/sending someone off into the great unknown? one of my coworkers died and his funeral is on monday and im uh. i wasnt close to the guy but im being forced to do some Processing

#myposts #personal log #he was in his 80s and he'd been in the hospital recently so it wasnt a total shock. not a tragic death by any means #he was pretty well-liked both at work and around town #i wasnt particularly close to him but i did know him and the last time someone died that i actually knew it was my grandmother 10 years ago #the funny thing is that my grandmother had pretty bad dementia & was in the nursing home most of the time i knew her #so ive never actually gone to a funeral for someone i felt like i knew personally #ive pretty much only gone to funerals of people ive met once or twice
